At 2ndChances.Life we provide each individual candidate with their own apartment. We believe a solid foundation first starts with a home to call your own. In addition, we provide job placement; life learning skills; continued education such as college; and family involvement. Each candidate must first commit to 18 months of individual counseling as we understand the importance of mental health; especially considering the challenges faced during incarceration.

Dav Lewis

Founder

Lewis is a growing power house of talent and heart. Lewis’s ability to act, direct, and produce has made him a very unique sought after individual with an impressive roster. He has appeared in several films, television, and marketing ad campaigns through his career. You may recognize him from his latest work, 2nd Chances, an award winning documentary inspired by real-life experiences and events. As an avid activist and entrepreneur, Lewis is engaged in causes and programs that expand opportunities as well as empower underprivileged individuals across America. Additionally, Lewis’s businesses are strategically aligned with this mission of raising awareness to social issues affecting voiceless communities.

Rain Davis

Board Member

Davis has been a member of the Board since 2018. Rain career in technology spans 20+ years from BP oil and gas to now she started one of the only Black Female Technology companies (H.U.E. Technology) in Houston, TX. H.U.E. Technology has given several men and women a second chance in Houston TX. through employment, on the job training, and certification. Davis brings a wealth of personal experience, expertise and passion to the organization in her continued fight to ensure woman are not left out of conversations when addressing recidivism. She was recently recognized by Beyonce.com and Out Smart Magazine for her continued success in the industry.

LISA “COLE” BASS

Secretary

Cole is a South Bronx native who graduated from LaGuardia High School Of Music & Art. She then received a four-year music scholarship to Stillman college where she only completed a year before signing a record contract with Uptown Records. In addition to a successful music career, Cole has dedicated her time and passion to giving back to the community through artist development, volunteer work, and teaching. Cole has a gift for changing the world and extremely committed to living with purpose.

Delra Harris

Board Member

Harris holds a BA in Criminal Justice, an Executive MBA and an EJD positioned in corporate law. Harris has traveled extensively across the globe focusing on expanding international volunteer service, improving service quality, and ensuring positive impacts in communities throughout the world. He encompasses the intellect to successfully seal the transaction at hand and has earned the respect for creating lasting relationships because of his genuine passion to always consider others needs before that of his own.
